Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex (PRDC) is the most problematic issue which pig farmers face. As the name suggest it is caused by multiple factors. For example, PRRS viral infection and Aujeszky?s Disease will lead to immune suppression of the respiratory system. Other disease agents such as Mycoplasma, PCV2 virus, Swine influenza virus , and other bacterias causing APP, Haemophilus pneumonia, Pasteurella pneumonia and others secondary diseases will complicate the primary infection. Fumonisin, a mycotoxin can cause pulmonary oedema will also induce secondary infections too. The Respiratory Shield is designed to provide protection against above diseases through appropriate vaccinations program and preventive measures.
