Composition per 100 ml
Suspension for injection
Ampicillin trihydrate 10g equivalent to ampicillin base 8.7g
Colistin (as sulphate) 25 million IU
Dexamethasone 25mg
(ie Ampicillin 87 mg/ml- Colistin : 250 000 IU/ml, Dexamethasone 0.25 mg/ml)

Properties
The combination of two synergestic antibiotics, ampicillin and colistin, effective against Gram +ve and Gram –ve organism, with a very potent corticosteroid : dexamethasone allows to treat a large number of infections and their inflammatory reactions

Indication
Cattle, sheep, horses, swine : preventive and curative treatment of infection caused by organism sensitive to ampicillin and colistin

Administration and dosage
Parenteral route : IM, SC, IP
Cattle, sheep, horses, swine : 1ml per 10kg of live weight every 12 hours

Contra indication
Do not use in pregnant female during the 2nd half of pregnancy
Do not use in rabbits, rodents
Withdrawal period
Meat : 21 days
Milk 4.5 days
